The house
CIVARA started with a single crew neck rather than a collection. Cotton grown in the Delta, spun in Alexandria, knitted and finished in Cairo. Everything the house does sits closer to a tailor's ledger than a fashion campaign — and a ledger with one line on it is easier to keep honest.

The piece
A twelve-gauge crew neck in Giza 87 cotton blended with merino. Ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, fully fashioned shoulders, and the wordmark set once on the left cuff — the only mark on the garment.

The yarn
Delta cotton spun in Alexandria, plied with merino for warmth the cotton alone will not give, then knitted and linked in Cairo. The whole chain sits inside one country — which is the only reason the price works.
The colour
Sceptre Red is the house colour, so the first garment is dyed in it and nothing else. Piece-dyed to a physical lab dip, not a book reference. It will soften for about six washes, then stay.
