The house
CIVARA dresses Egyptian and Gulf professionals who already buy imported luxury and are quietly tired of paying duty on it. They read labels. They ask where a fabric comes from. They will pay for a piece that lasts eight years and will not pay for a logo. So the house opened with one garment instead of a collection, and will not add a second until the first is right.
Cairo — Autumn MMXXVI
Every angle of the only thing we make.

The yarn
Giza 87, long-staple, grown in the Nile Delta. Spun in Alexandria, plied with merino, knitted and linked in Cairo — the whole chain inside one country, most of it inside one day's drive.

Art direction
No location, no props, no weather doing the work. One neutral ground, light broad enough that nothing is flattered and nothing is hidden, and the same four frames for every piece — front, three-quarter, back, seated. Skin texture, yarn slubs and the crease at the elbow all stay.

Appointments
Fittings run Tuesday to Saturday. Bring the knit you wear most and we will size against it.
